Movie is so inconsistent, it takes you for an idiot.

So, remember how this movie basically starts with Jane reading about "space vikings and good health" and this gets never mentioned again, nor does she ever get any health benefit from turning into a space viking?
Remember how Thor made the Mjolnir promise it should always look after Jane, then the Mjolnir happily does the exact opposite by "choosing" her and slowly killing her?
Remember how Thor had to train to become Thor, then as soon as he stopped doing that, he got a beerbelly and had to train again to become Thor again? And Jane picks up the Mjolnir and overnight she becomes a ripped goddess?
Remember how Thor ridicules Sif — an actual goddess — for not knowing she won't enter Valhalla because she's about to die after a fight, not during? Then Jane — not an actual goddess — dies after the movie's final fight and she is immediately welcomed into Valhalla?
Oh look, goats.
Yeah nah, please don't take me for an idiot, movie.

Why write an intricate story when there's "convenience"?

It's a pretty moronic movie where stuff just happens conveniently to advance the plot. Where the first movie had a balance between different types of jokes, this movie only features lowbrow humor intended for children hitting puberty.

A masterclass in visual storytelling and visual effects.

It trades its produce with Gastown — which likely has access to an oil refinery facility — and the Bullet Farm — which likely has access to iron ore and a metallurgical facility.
No flashbacks needed. No voice over. No forced exposition.
This movie knows it's a visual medium and acts accordingly.

Funny goofy spy comedy with a moronic antagonist.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for an evil masterplan that saves the planet. But there are a couple of flaws with it, not the least the fact that the evil genius needs to keep his hand on the panel to maintain the signal active. If he gets distracted for a second, the evil masterplan falls apart. What the…
Other than that, pretty well written and performed. Characters make mostly sensical decisions and show actual development. The church scene is pure art.
A masterpiece of science fiction and character building.
Wonderful emotional rollercoaster, EU production.
Excellent portrayal of destructive rivalry.
Lisa, you're tearing me apart!
A classic for a reason.
